Our Mission...

BazTek Native Restoration uses GIS mapping, spatial analysis, and evidence-based restoration practices to help Socorro County landowners and conservation partners make better decisions about the land they manage. We bring the precision of modern technology and the discipline of a military veteran — and we actively seek out the expertise of NRCS professionals, conservation district staff, and longtime land managers, because the land has been teaching people long before we showed up with our maps and instruments.

Why It Matters...

No dedicated GIS firm operates within Socorro County. The nearest alternatives are 75 miles away in Albuquerque, with project minimums built for engineering contracts — not working ranches, acequia associations, or small farms applying for EQIP funding. That gap has real consequences: landowners lose out on conservation programs they qualify for, documentation goes undone, and federal funding sits unclaimed.

BazTek exists to close that gap — locally, at a price point that makes sense, and with a clear understanding of what we know and what we are still learning.
